Electronic instruments such as electronic pianos and electronic organs have numerous switches for functions such as recording, metronome, and tone changes. In this video, we evaluate the characteristics of these switches by graphing the pressing force and displacement when pressing these switches, including the moment when the switch's function switches ON/OFF. The purpose is to assess the operability and comfort of the switches by checking if there is any discrepancy between the perceived location of the switch activation and the actual moment when the switch turns ON. If the user feels like they pressed the switch but the function doesn't turn ON, it can create a sense of discomfort. If the switch requires excessive force to activate, it not only indicates poor operability but can also give users a cheap impression. From a branding perspective, improving and managing the quality of the operability and comfort of switches is important.
