Cloth Button Pull-Off Strength Test

Force measurement is widely used for safety and quality control in clothes manufacturing. Cloth button pull-off strength test is one of the typical application. \nWhat if a button comes off from a customer's relatively new shirt? The customer would be disappointed, and maybe have bad image to the clothes and the brand. Moreover, it is extremely dangerous if a child accidentally swallowed the come-off button. Therefore, it is very important to manage the sewing strength of the cloth button. This video shows the cloth button pull-off strength test with manual test stand. Manual type features low-cost and easy-to-use compared to motorized type, thus it is adopted in many factories. For more precise and repeatable measurement, the motorized test stand is recommended.
