This is a test to measure the operating force of the switch using a manual stand. Also called a switch feeling test. It measures the force that is pushed in until the switch is activated, and quantifies the ease of pushing and the click feeling. By setting the force reduction value that defines the peak value with the force gauge, the force at the moment when the switch is pressed can be recorded properly as the first peak value. If the specification has a displacement input, the amount of pushing until the switch is turned on can also be measured.
