Puncture Force

JIS

It is a packaging film puncture strength test. The pin is pierced into the film to measure the strength when penetrated. In the process from packaging to distribution, it is used in safety evaluation and quality control to prevent pinholes caused by sharp tips or protrusions of the contents. This test complies with the corresponding part of JIS Z1707 (2019) [General rules of plastic films for food packaging].
