This video shows 180 degree peel test of adhesive tapes using a vertical test stand and 180 degree peel test fixture. The test complies with the corresponding part of ISO 29862 (2018) [Self adhesive tapes-Determination of peel adhesion properties].
The graphing software in the video enables the tester to see the average force value during the specified range. The software also converts the force values to peel force values using the specimen width data. The product configuration of this application can be used for other measurements which complies with the corresponding part of ASTM D3330 (2010) and JIS Z0237 (2022). This set of products can also be used for 90 degree peel test with a different attachment.
